Members of the German Bundestag are invited to join the dedication DER BEVÖLKERUNG by contributing soil from their respective constituencies. Participation takes diverse forms and often unfolds in collaboration with individuals and communities from their respective regions. Members are welcome to contribute repeatedly across legislative terms.

All members of the German Bundestag are invited to contribute up to 50 kg of soil from their constituency to the art installation DER BEVÖLKERUNG once per legislative term.

To ensure that every contribution is documented over the long term, in the archive and on the website, as part of this collaborative, living work of art, we ask Members of Parliament to register using a form. They then receive the jute bags designed by Hans Haacke, provided by IK4, which they can use to collect and transport soil from their constituency, along with further information on scheduling and documentation.
